Shown the first image of the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G processor, the company's new APU based on the Zen + architecture of 12nm lithography.

On May 28, Computex 2019 begins in Taipei, which will open for the first time in history with its Keynote, AMD. There are 38 days in which all kinds of rumors will appear about the company's products. The latest leak has to do with the company's upcoming APUs. Specifically, the AMD Ryzen 3 3200G has been seen. This new processor is based on the Zen + architecture of 12nm lithography. It will be accompanied with Radeon Vega graphics not specified.

AMD Ryzen 3 3200G APU First Image

Although this APU was part of the Ryzen 3000 Series family, it will not be based on 7nm, it will be based on 12nm. We have already seen how the Ryzen 2000 APUs were based on 14nm. They are always a generation behind. We will have to wait until 2020 to see the first APUs based on 7nm, which will arrive with the Ryzen 4000 Series, probably.

Ryzen 3 3200H is an APU that has four cores and four processing threads. This processor works at a base frequency of 3.6GHz and can reach 3.9GHz in Boost mode. It will be accompanied by Radeon Vega 8 graphics with 512 Stream Processors at a frequency of 1.250MHz. We speak of 150MHz frequency for the GPU with respect to the Ryzen 3 2200G.

We see a slight increase in the frequencies of this processor over the Ryzen 3 2200G. An improvement that will be important to increase the performance of this processor. Now it only remains for these leaked data to be a reality and not a fantasy. As always, the rumors we are going to take quite carefully, although in the field of processors, they seem realistic. If it were about Radeon graphics cards, it would be another story.
