[RUMOR] NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti Based on Turing Architecture with 1535 CUDA Cores

Rumors appear about a possible NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti, which would be based on the Turing architecture and would have 1535 CUDA Cores.

New rumors about a possible a supposed NVIDIA GeForce GTX 11 Series family. Now it seems that they will not be GTX 11 Series but GTX 16 Series. At least this follows from the leak of the GTX 1660 Ti. The new rumors indicate that it would be the same model as the GTX 1160, but with a different name. They may be real, but for now we are going to take them with a grain of salt.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti?

It seems that this new graphics card will use a TU116 silicon, based on the Turing architecture. This would have 1535 CUDA Cores under this architecture. Logically it will be below the RTX 2060 of 1920 CUDA Cores and above the GTX 1060 of 1280 CUDA Cores (Pascal). It falls below the GTX 1070 which has 1920 CUDA Cores (Pascal). These rumors also point to the GTX 1660 Ti coming with 6GB GDDR6 and a 192-bit memory interface.

These are all rumors and therefore there is no release date. It could be that this in the end is an RTX 2050 and not the GTX 1660 Ti. It could be the case that these rumors were unfounded and it was none of this. Let's take it easy and wait for events. The truth is that NVIDIA with Turing is being quite opaque.
