AMD's RX 5500 XT to be delayed to early December, according to new information
Rumors suggest that AMD would have delayed the RX 5500 and RX 5500 XT at the beginning of December due to possibly the production problems of TMSC.
The launch of the AMD RX 5500 XT and RX 5500 graphics cards is expected later this month. New information suggests that this graphics card would arrive somewhat later than expected. The RX 5500 will initially be destined for the OEM market only and the RX 5500 XT will reach the general market. It will be the RX 5500 XT that has custom models.
The RX 5500 will have a total of 1 408 Stream Processors working at a Game frequency of 1 717MHz and in Boost mode reaching 1 845MHz. This graphics card will be accompanied with 4GB GDDR6 with a memory interface of 128bits and a memory bandwidth of 224GB / s.
Custom models of the AMD RX 5500 XT would be delayed
Currently AMD has only confirmed the RX 5500 and RX 5500M, it has not yet officially confirmed the RX 5500XT. It is speculated that this graph that would arrive at the beginning of December, will have something more than 1 Stream Processors. This graphics could operate at a base frequency of 408MHz and will have 1GB GDDR717 with a 8bit memory interface.
Initially the Navi 14 charts should have arrived in mid-November, but they have been delayed to early December. The reason for this would be TSMC's production problems, which would have more demand than production capacity.
Note that the RX 5500XT will arrive for entry gaming, offering good quality / price ratio for 1080p. It would be placed in principle between the GTX 1650 and GTX 1660 from NVIDIA. The GTX 1650 are available from approximately 170 euros and the GTX 1660 are available from 230 euros. So AMD has a good margin to market a graphics with a competitive price.
