RX 5500 XT: Several Gigabyte GPU-based models have been listed in the EEC

Several Gigabyte RX 5500 XT graphics cards are listed, although these graphics have not yet been officially announced by AMD.

A few weeks ago the AMD RX 5500 XT was announced, intended for entry-level gaming. These graphics have the mission to compete with NVIDIA's NVIDIA GTX 16 Series in FullHD gaming, mainly. Several Gigabyte graphics cards based on the RX 5500 XT have appeared in the European Economic Commission (EEC). The company would be finalizing the WindForce, Gaming and OC.

The new graphics are characterized by being a great solution for FullHD gaming. AMD recently lowered the price of several RX 590 models in order to clean up stock. These Navi graphics are characterized as the perfect replacement for Polaris graphics cards.

Registered Multiple RX 5500 XT Models by Gigabyte

We know the specs of the RX 5500, but no data has been given for the RX 5500 XT. The RX 5500 model has 1 408 Shaders Processors with a base frequency of 1 717MHz and in Boost mode it reaches 1 845MHz. This graph has a TDP of 150W. The specifications of this new graphics have not been revealed, but it should be intended for 1440p.

The new RX 5500 XT model will have a performance approximately 9% higher than the RX 5500 model. It will be accompanied, predictably, with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The working frequencies and number of Shaders Processors have not been disclosed.

Although the first reference offered is by Gigabyte, it may not be the first to launch them. Sapphire, ASRock, Power Color and XFX are the assemblers that usually take precedence. This is because they only work with AMD solutions, while others also work with NVIDIA.

We will see when AMD will launch the RX 5500 and if they will also arrive with the most advanced model. The delay would have to do with the saturation that TSMC suffers with the production of silicon in 7nm.
