RX 5600 XT, the AMD graphics for 1080p gaming that competes with the GTX 1660 Ti
Gaming is one of the most important parts for AMD and they wanted to make it clear in their conference during CES 2020. They have highlighted a very interesting fact and that is that the video game industry would have generated in 2019, no less than 35.700 billion dollars. For this reason, the company is so interested in having a large presence in this market and that is why they launch the RX 5600 XT
They took advantage of the event to remind us that they currently offer the RX 5700 XT and the RX 5500 XT for home gaming. They remind us that the next generation Apple Mac Pro implement AMD graphics. They also remember that the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 use an AMD processor and graphics.

The company announced the FreeSync standard based on VESA Adaptive Sync a long time ago. This dynamic vertical sync technology is open source and accessible to everyone. There is no charge to use it on a monitor and you do not need additional hardware, as in the case of NVIDIA.
To improve this technology they expand the ecosystem to two solutions of which they have not detailed much. They have announced FreeSync Premium for monitors 120Hz or more with CFL (we do not know what it is, we will look for more info). We also have FreeSync Premium Pro, which is the same as the previous version, but HDR is added.
A very interesting fact that can go unnoticed is that the latest driver package from AMD has been downloaded a lot. Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition has been downloaded, in December alone, more than 3.4 million times. A really interesting piece of information that indicates that this software has been well received and that there are many users with graphics solutions from AMD.
This is the RX 5600 XT
We go on to know more about the RX 5600 XT graphics card. This graphics card has 36 Compute Units that are equivalent to 2304 Stream Processors. The base frequency has not been indicated, but the Gaming frequency is 1375MHz, being able to reach 1560MHz in Boost mode. It is accompanied by 6GB GDDR6 and is basically a cropped RX 5700.
According to AMD, this graphics card is designed for 1080p resolution and comes to compete with NVIDIA's GTX 1660 Ti. We see that the performance in AAA games is superior to NVIDIA graphics and not a little. It also exceeds it in games for eSports, although here the difference is somewhat tighter.
This graphics card will be released on January 21 for $ 279. This is the starting price, since then each assembler will put their price according to heatsink, overclocking and others. A price very similar to that of the GTX 1660 Ti that can make it more attractive.
