Thanks to these modules, faster and more powerful laptops can be developed, which will also offer battery optimization, increasing autonomy, one of the weak points of laptops.

If the new modules are compared, with Samsung's 16GB modules manufactured in 20nm, introduced in 2014, these new 32GB modules, double the capacity, offering a performance improvement of 11% and in turn are 39% more efficient in regarding energy use. For example, a laptop with 64GB of RAM, which has two 32GB modules, has a consumption of around 4.6W in active and 1.4W in idle.

The South Korean company is working hard to increase its DRAM memory offering based on 10nm, being the largest producer in the industry, something that will allow smartphones, graphics cards, computers and servers to advance at a technical level.
