The Shadow of the Tomb Raider game has recently been updated to add support for RayTracing technology. But not only that, it is the first RayTracing game to support NVIDIA NVLink configurations (the most modern version of SLI). Thanks to this update it has been possible to move this game in 4K @ 60FPS resolution in Ultra graphic quality. The big downside is that to achieve this, two NVIDIA TITAN RTX have been needed.

The biggest downside is that to be able to move the game in these characteristics you need two NVIDIA TITAN RTX. For most of the time the game runs above 60FPS, it even goes above 100FPS, although at specific moments it falls below 100FPS. We must emphasize that the video is simply a demo and does not interact with the environment. There is no battle against enemies, so we do not know if this configuration is capable of supporting a game in real time.
Obviously no one would spend more than 5.000 euros on two NVIDIA TITAN RTXs, in addition to the rest of the necessary hardware. Also a few weeks ago we already saw a demo of the Shadow of the Tomb Raider in 4K with a FPS rate between 60FPS and 80FPS in Ultra quality. As demos they are fine, but this doesn't make much sense to an average user.
But it is also that a week ago a video of the Shadow of the Tomb Raider was published at an 8K resolution. This resolution is nothing more than an exhibition, since there are no monitors and screens that support it. It's simply a movie-quality demo that lets us see the full quality of the game and little else. The amount of FPS is reduced to about 20-30FPS, because the resolution is doubled.
