If we use a heatsink that is not the stock one in the AMD Ryzen 2000 Series, we run out of warranty
AMD's support page specifies that you cannot install a different heatsink than the one that comes in the box with AMD Ryzen 2000 Series processors or we will run out of warranty.
This we do not know to what extent it is real or it is some type of misprint on the AMD website, but if it ends up being confirmed, it is the first time this has happened. Many users choose to install different heatsinks than the stock ones from processor companies, to improve processor cooling. The new second generation AMD Ryzen bring with them an important restriction in this field and that is that the guarantee of these processors will be invalidated if we use a different heatsink than the stock one.
We have no evidence that this has happened before and that AMD places the restriction on using a different heatsink than the stock one or liquid cooling, so what AMD usually says about squeezing the Ryzen to the fullest is far behind. The information does not come from third parties, this information comes directly from one of the threads on the AMD support website, where reference is made to the guarantee of the company's processors, specifically the heatsinks that arrive in the box or PIB ( English acronym for 'processor in a box')
AMD publishes: 'Is my AMD PIB processor warranty still valid if I use a different fan cooler than the one included with the processor? No. The limited warranty will be voided if the AMD processor that is the subject of this is used with any fan cooler other than the one provided by the company. '
We should bear in mind at this point that there are a lot of coolers that sell AMD Ryzen compatible coolers, so are these companies selling coolers without AMD's permission? Why this restriction? Many open questions. We'll see what AMD says about it.

This has to be forcibly false, I highly doubt that AMD plays with people this way.
It is an error on the page because they allow you to use another heatsink different from the factory one as long as it is compatible with the socket am4 or Am3 +
