KIOXIA Europe GmbH, an expert brand in memory solutions, has announced that its PCIe 4.0 NVMe and SAS SSD drives have successfully tested its compatibility and interoperability with the Adaptec HBA 1200 series host bus adapters from Microchip Technology. These are the SmartHBA 2200 series host bus adapter (HBA) models and the SmartRAID 3200 series RAID adapters.
Thus, KIOXIA ensures compatibility with these adapters for a large part of its portfolio of SSD drives. Such models are available for client PCs, for data centers, hyperscale and enterprise servers and storage systems. KIOXIA series SSDs models CD6, CD8 and CM6 PCIe 4.0 NVMe and KIOXIA series SSDs PM6 models and PM7 24G SAS successfully completed compatibility testing conducted by Microchip.
