TechPowerUp Filters All Features Of The NVIDIA GTX 1180
Filtered by TechPowerUp, all the characteristics of the NVIDIA GTX 1180 graphics card, which will be based on the Volta architecture and will be manufactured in 12nm, in addition to having GDDR6 memory.
Everyone is like a headless chicken trying to know what the new NVIDIA graphics cards will be like, what they will be called or what features they will have. Well, all the features of the NVIDIA GTX 1180 have been filtered, which have been filtered by the database of TechPowerUp. This graphics card will be based on the Volta architecture and will be manufactured using the 12nm manufacturing process, so no Ampere or Turin.
Regarding the characteristics, the GTX 1180 will carry the GV104 GPU, based on the Volta architecture and the 12nm manufacturing process, using the PCIe 3.0 x16 connection interface. This graphics card has 3584 CUDA Cores, a total of 224 TMU, 64 ROP and a floating point performance power of 11.340GFLOPS. This graphics card works at a frequency of 1405MHz and a Boost frequency of 1582MHz. Regarding the memories, it will have 16GB GDDR6 with a 256bit memory bus, a bandwidth of 384GB / s with a memory frequency of 1500MHz.
The graphics card would have a double slot thickness and a total length of 267mm. Regarding video connectivity, this graphics card will have one HDMI and three DisplayPorts. It will be powered by a 6-pin PCIe connector and another 8-pin connector. It will offer enough power to run games at 4K resolution, with excellent performance.
These are the characteristics of this graphics card, completely filtered by this specialized medium in the absence of weeks before it is launched on the market. Although they indicate that this graphics card has not been launched and could change the specifications in the future, everything indicates that these will be the final characteristics.

Rehash? I hope you can ocean enough that there is still some desire that you do not enjoy your 4K
A jump from 8.7 to 11.3 Tflops I think is not bad at all and added to its 16gb of vram I think it will be very good for 4k
I was expecting a higher bandwidth, at least 500GB / sec onwards.
Better not say anything until I see the reviews
I see that just to cut what amd can earn with navi by 15-20% and stay the same
Not even navi xD comes out, I sincerely hope that navi is like an improved 1170 with a good price and consumption
I think it's going to be like eating a microwave-heated pizza from last night
Has anyone the link to TechPowerUp?
if these data are confirmed, it is the same power that a 1080ti gives you (11.3TFLOPS) but with Volta architecture.
You only gain a little in bandwidth and if in the end it is this data (which is most likely) it would be the logical evolution within the market totally dominated by them. They do not need, for now, get more power.
With those TFLOPS you are assured of 144fps at 2k or 60fps at 4k… which is 95% of what the most demanding players play, and as the pc market is weighed down by the console market…. why get something more powerful this year…. we will have to wait for its Ti version.
Now we have to wait for the final price, to see if it is far or not with a difference from that of the current GTX1080Ti.
We know that Nvidia graphics perform very well, but their high prices slow down the purchase of them by a good number of users.
