European stores now allow you to reserve the 3175-core Intel Xeon W-26X for more than € 4.000

The Intel Xeon W-3175X processor, a professional 28-core processor with overclocking capabilities, appears in several European retailers.

Several retailers in Europe have already included in their catalog the new Intel Xeon W-3175X processor, which has 28 cores and 56 threads and also a rather curious capacity for this type of processors and that is that they have the ability to receive overclocking. We are talking about a professional processor especially for Workstation that with its 28 cores and its 4.3GHz frequency in Boost mode is capable of pulverizing the 2990-core Threadripper 32WX processor.

Intel Xeon W-3175X, a processor monstrosity for the Workstation segment.

This brutality of the processor works at a frequency of 3.1GHz, being able to reach 4.3GHz in Boost mode but it is also that with overclocking it is capable of reaching 5.0GHz with a beast cooling system. Its 28 cores and 56 threads make it a rock. It supports Hexa Channel DDR4-2666, supports 44 PCIe lanes (apart from those supported by the chipset), it has a total of 38.5MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 255W.

There is no official price and official launch date, although Intel assured that this processor derived from the Skylake-X family should hit the market this month of December, so they cannot be too confused if they want to launch it this year.

As we said there is no official price and if we look at the retailers, the first one, one that seems to be Slovak has it for just over € 4.500, another that seems to be from the same area has it for just over € 4.100, the next It is a British retailer that has it for £ 4.000, which is about € 4.450 in exchange, and finally an American store apparently has it for $ 4.220, which is about € 3.500 in exchange.

Logically, this processor is not intended for the average user, it is intended for very specific systems that require special features for complex computational calculations.
