Trump gets Foxconn to open a plant in the United States (smaller than originally said)

Foxconn to open a factory in the United States

“Foxconn is moving forward with our planned construction of a fabulous Gen 6 facility, which will be in the heart of the Wisconsin Valley Science and Technology Park. This campus will serve both as an advanced manufacturing facility and a high-tech innovation center for the region, ”says a statement issued by the company.

We must remember that in 2017 the company already had an approach and saw viable opening a plant on US soil. That plant would be bigger than the one finally built.

The plant that was raised in 2017 involved an investment of 10.000 billion dollars in Wisconsin and would employ about 13.000 people. This plant would be used for the manufacture of LCD panels mainly for televisions, as well as for other devices.

In the end and after multiple conversions between the US president and Foxconn's top management, the plant will be smaller, medium in size.
