TSMC has become the most valuable company in Asia

The Taiwanese company TSMC is living its golden moment thanks to the great work with its latest lithographs. It is in charge of manufacturing the AMD Ryzen 3000 processors and the new SoC for the iPhone, among others. Thanks to these two cooperations, together with the work with Qualcomm or NVIDIA, it has just become the largest and most valuable in Asia.

Specifically, the Taiwanese foundry has achieved a capitalization of more than 240 million dollars. This data is very important, since the foundry has managed to surpass Samsung for the first time in its history. Excellent data as a result of tireless work, innovation and knowing how to anticipate the different challenges posed by the industry.

TSMC is the most valuable company in Asia

One of the reasons for the foundry's success is the large number of lithographs it currently offers. The company offers customers the newest node, the 7nm one and a fairly old 180nm node. The customer can choose between a highly inexpensive old node or something newer, with higher power and efficiency.

Another of the great successes is that a large part of the profits are invested in research and innovation. The idea of the company is to remain competitive at all costs and for this you have to invest.

Thanks to the great offer and hard work TSMC has become the most valuable company in Asia

But the rationale is that it makes all the chips for Apple, HiSilicon (a Huawei subsidiary), NVIDIA and AMD. It also manufactures for other companies like Qualcomm and even Intel (due to their production problems). This causes the company to make money in gigantic amounts.

It is true that there are rumors that the company would have problems meeting demand. As indicated, due to the brutal sales of AMD's Ryzen 3000, they would have more demand for 7nm than production capacity. Note that Apple and Huawei also request SoC in 7nm for their smartphones.
