Create a video clip based on the 128 threads of an AMD Threadripper 3990X in the Windows 10 task manager
A few months ago AMD surprised and fascinated us by presenting a 64-core, 128-thread processor. The company released the Threadripper 3990X processor, the most beast of commercial processor released to date. Very few applications are capable of using such a bunch of processors and processing threads. Well, in China they have created a video clip using a Threadripper 3990X processor.
For this they have used the monitoring system of the Windows 10 operating system itself, which is equivalent to 128 display pixels. Basically we are talking about a resolution of 14 × 9 pixels. Then they have created a video that is rendered in real time based on the number of cores in the Threadripper 3990X. Then they have executed it and basically each thread is equivalent to one pixel.

This mind-blowing video is possibly the most inefficient way to use one of these processors, but it is the most hypnotic. Whoever had the idea of doing this is a true madman, the truth is that he has fascinated us. When rendering a black pixel the load goes to 100% on the thread and when it is white, the load is 0%. This creates a crazy structure that allows the processor to 'limit' the image on the right.
Who created this is Alstroemeria Records for the Bad Apple music video. It should be noted that, to do this madness, they have first recorded everything in slow motion. The problem is that the task manager is not fast, so they have had to figure out how to do it in slow motion. Then they have sped up the video so that the process appears to be done in real time.
Logically beyond something funny and crazy, it has little technical value. It is possible that the Threadripper 3900X is from the record company and they use it to render the videos and the computer scientist on duty has come up with this madness. But what does it matter, we all have the internet to see these crazy things.

I'm the first? Wow hahahaha, spectacular I loved the video, a lot of work to do it
