Wi-Fi 7 will be widely deployed in 2023

A report by market analysis firm Dell'Oro Group claims that Wi-Fi 6E supply problems will not be as severe when the new business-class wireless LAN Wi-Fi 7 is widely available. It is expected to happen in 2023.

Dell'Oro Group commented that although products with WiFi 6E as of mid-2021, its supply is very limited. Of course, the current component crisis is the biggest problem for its mass implementation and availability.

Wi-Fi 7 is coming to replace Wi-Fi 6

Manufacturers of products that should have said Wi-Fi 6E are reshaping popular products with more widely available components. In addition, Users ask for Wi-Fi 6 and have no interest in the 6E for now.

In addition to supply constraints inhibiting the pace of Wi-Fi 6E adoption, they see that compliance with regulations to operate in the 6 GHz spectrum is slowing down the deployment process. This is because fulfillment processes have not yet been standardized and are not easy to implement.

The enterprise-class wireless LAN market forecast has been raised as a result of recently released government initiatives to advance technology and the delay in meeting pent-up demand. Now they see that in the next five years between $45.000 billion and $50.000 billion will be spent on business-class Wi-Fi equipment and AI applications.
