First images of the XFX RX 5700 XT custom model

First images of the new XFX RX 5700 XT, the first of the custom models that should hit the market shortly.

Custom models of AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 graphics cards They must be around the corner. There is talk of late August or early September for custom models. XFX has released images of its custom model of the RX 5700 XT. The first images show us a dual fan system, which is already much better than the reference blower.

The design of this new XFX is not the prettiest in the world, but it will significantly improve temperatures. AMD still opts for the blower fan, while NVIDIA has switched to a dual fan system. A much improved XFX design that should offer lower temperatures on this custom model.

First, we are very struck by the high density of aluminum fins on this heatsink of this XFX. The heatsink has a size of 2.5 PCI slots, which will make the temperatures drop noticeably. Perhaps the biggest problem will be that in many chassis it will not be possible to put it vertically. Something that matters rather little, because there will be more elegant models and it does not seem to have RGB.

Regarding the power supply, one of the interesting points, this graphic has two 8 + 6-pin PCIe. The possibility of these new models arriving with AMD's reference PCB is already rumored. It seems like the biggest change will be the cooling system on this XFX. Something that will be key to improving temperatures and extending the useful life.

Regarding overclocking, an improvement in terms of the XFX frequencies seems quite complicated. The silicon of the current AMD RX 5700 XT and RX 5700 are already at the limit and it seems difficult that they go much further. We assume that in the next few days we will have more data.
