Hulu announced today that its streaming services will be available on the Nintendo Switch console, being the first to offer such services even before NETFLIX.
On another occasion we mentioned how Nintendo Switch would receive a streaming service from Netflix , eight months have passed since Nintendo launched the console, a console so peculiar that many categorize it as hybrid, and we still don't know whether to classify it as portable or desktop, and eight months has been how long it has taken Nintendo to be able to include a video streaming system within its console for its western region and in this case it did so (against all odds) in partnership with HULU.
In a statement issued by Richard Irving vice president of product today he said that his services will be available on the console, in said statement Richard Irving said:
“We are very proud to announce that Hulu is the first US streaming service to debut on Nintendo Switch! Starting today, Hulu subscribers will be able to use their Nintendo Switch to watch all their favorite TV shows on demand whether they're at home or away.

So with Hulu now on Nintendo Switch, all of your television is in one place. You can have a deeply personal experience in your living room or outside, without having to change devices. "
The statement does not specify in what areas it would be available, or when, but Nintendo took care of that part since it issued a list of new products and apps available in the eshop for today at 12 PM (time of the East in America) time when updates are usually done.
For those who don't know it yet, Hulu is a video streaming service just like NETFLIX, but with the difference that Hulu focuses its services on current series and a smaller movie billboard (the opposite of NETFLIX), this service It could be considered more like a pay television since it has live television availability with sports channels, news, series and original productions, with around 1.650 television programs with an availability of one day after being broadcast by its original network and about 2.500 films.
