Iberdrola calls a customer a 'son of a bitch'

Iberdrola sends an invoice to a client, changing his name, for the sonorous phrase 'go to hell son of a bitch'.

The Iberdrola electricity company, from its billing company, has sent an invoice to a customer, at least, striking. Gustavo D. Rodriguez is the owner of the Mamma Rita Restaurant, located in Alicante. This customer of the electricity company (billing company in this case), has been an incredible surprise and no, it has nothing to do with the amount of the invoice, which amounts to € 572.55, but by the name of the owner of the invoice, in which appears the beautiful phrase: 'go to hell son of a bitch'.

Gustavo believes that this change in his name in the database of the electric company billing company would have its origin in a call I made to customer service to complain about a problem. The conversion with the person who attended the call center ended with tension (as is usual in this type of calls), as recognized by the owner of the restaurant. Gustavo also acknowledges that before hanging up, he sputtered the phrase: 'fuck you son of a bitch', the same one that now appears as the client's name.

The restorer recognizes that the phrase is far from adequate and fortunate. Gustavo also acknowledges that the call center worker would never have been expected to change his name in the Iberdrola database as revenge. Something that he is not able to explain either is 'that the postman could know who to deliver the letter to', according to he laughs.

Iberdrola, for its part, has had no choice but to acknowledge that "this is an unfortunate mistake", which they have already solved. A company spokesperson has already contacted this restaurateur, who, according to Gustavo: 'He has apologized and I have been told that this should not have happened. I explained to them that I accept the apologies but that something like this happens to such a large company is not logical. Where is the Data Protection Law? '

This incident is certainly minor and is due to an isolated incident, between a customer calling a call center, which usually ends up in anger at the caller and a worker, who receives the umpteenth call that ends in bad manners. Despite everything, nothing justifies the name change and what happened, which is still a simple anecdote, almost humorous.
