MSI's new graphics cards have started to be sold in Europe, specifically the MSI GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z graphics card and the MSI GTX 1080 Ti Lightning X. The two models of this MSI graphics card are identical, they only change from one to the other the frequencies at which the GPU is working and the price, of course. The two MSI graphics cards have the same heatsink that allows cooling up to a 250W TDP, which has a length of 320mm and the thickness of this graphics card is 140mm wide, which means that it occupies three PCI spaces.
The heatsink is the largest installed in a GTX 1080 Ti, which has a dissipation system of three 10mm thick heatpipes that goes towards the two zones of heatsink fins, all cooled by three powerful and excellent TORX FAN 2.0 fans . An aluminum frontplate has been installed to cool the VRMs and rear-integrated components. The two graphics cards have the frequency of the custom memories, being 11124MHz.
Additionally, we must say that this graphics card has Military Class IV components, uses three 8 + 8 + 8-pin PCIe power connectors and NVIDIA Boost 3.0 technology, which allows reaching frequencies of 2050-2100MHz, all thanks to the power supply and the powerful heatsink and be careful, because only 3000 units will be manufactured and will go on sale next July 28. The Lightning Z will be priced at € 939, while the Lightning X will be priced at € 915.
