Intel advances the production of the Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors about three weeks and they could finally be seen at Computex and hit the market shortly after.

The Chinese website BenchLife has leaked new information, this time about Intel's upcoming high-end processors. These processors are based on the Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X architectures. This new architecture requires a new platform, which will be supported by the X299 chipset. This new Basin Falls X299 platform will arrive at least a month earlier than expected, as it was anticipated for mid-summer but could arrive sooner.

According to the first information, Basin Falls had to arrive during week 31 of this year, which corresponds to the first week of August. Regarding the start of serial production of the Skylake-X, it was known that they would start week 25, which is a month or a half before its launch, plenty of time to have a fairly significant amount of stock and avoid supply problems , for a platform, which is designed for Workstations and equipment for photo and video editing.

The start of production has been advanced until week 22 of this year, which is from May 29 to April 4, curiously, the same week that Computex takes place, which as we know is held between May 30 and April 3 of June. It is clear that Intel at least began to produce earlier than expected and that the first equipment and the first samples of these processors will be seen during Computex.

We remember that the processors based on Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X will use the LGA2066 socket and logically these processors will not have integrated graphics. The Skylake-X will have up to ten cores, that is known, while the Kaby Lake-X will have a maximum of four cores. The change in Intel's plans may have something to do with AMD's intention to launch a pro HEDT platform for the first time based on the Zen architecture.
