Amazon wants to take over the pharmaceutical market and entrusts the mission to the head of the Kindle division

Amazon's latest challenge is to take over the pharmaceutical market and for this it has trusted who led the team responsible for the Kindle.

Buying online has become something simple and common for many people, thanks to the creation of specialized platforms. The largest online store at the moment is Amazon, a gigantic company and one of the most valuable today. Bezos' company is constantly working to expand into other markets where the company has little presence. Twitch or Prime TV are some of the clearest examples. Now the company wants to expand to another segment that moves hundreds of billions of euros (dollars) a year: the pharmaceutical.

Amazon wants to enter the pharmaceutical market

The company wants to enter the pharmaceutical segment and for this it needs someone to take care of the management of this division. To face this challenge they have appointed Nader Kabbani, who led the Kindle project. Kabbani is a highly experienced person who has already been behind the organization of the Kindle platform, Flex services, and their logistics. Kabbani's new role will be the head of the pharmaceutical division, in which he is one of Amazon's riskiest and most complex positions.

To lay the foundations for this step, in June 2018 the giant Amazon acquired the PillPack company. This company was one of the largest online pharmaceutical companies in the United States and it was acquired for about 800 million dollars. No one has been fired from the company, only Kabbani has been installed as full manager of the division. He will be the one who is the bridge between the two companies and who must take this challenge to success ... or failure.
