Apple has confirmed the departure of its Video On Demand service for November 1. Apple TV + features top-tier stars and one year included in hardware purchase.
Apple is making a big push for its video-on-demand service, Apple TV+. The service is launching with the series See, starring Jason Momoa, as one of its strongest offerings in the realm of fiction. In the series, humanity has lost its sight, but after centuries without being able to see, humans have been born with the ability to do so.
They have confirmed that the Apple TV + departure day will be November 1. And it does so with a few original series, which have only specified that one will be See and will be in the Apple TV app. With this they already formalize their interest in competing with big names like Amazon and Netflix.
Apple's video service is already dated
What may surprise many the most is the price, since they have not been around the bush much. It's a subscription for the whole family for $ 4.99 per month, that puts it at a much lower price than competitors like Amazon or Netflix. Apple TV + is thus the cheapest video on demand service, waiting for it to be seen outside of Apple devices.
To try to get the attention of potential customers they will offer the first month free. It's pretty good but they take advantage of the fact that they also make hardware to get more customers. With the purchase of an iPhone, iPad, Macbook or any other hardware of the company, an entire year of Apple TV + will be given away.
