Arizona Proposes Blocking Pornography Unless Users Pay $ 20 For Trump's Wall

A representative from the State of Arizona proposes that any electronic device capable of accessing the Internet cannot access pornography unless it is paid $ 20 to unlock it. It is speculated that the money will pay for Donald Trump's wall.

That much of the consumption of the Internet is destined for pornography is nothing new, but there are those who want to take advantage of this situation to collect taxes in a questionable way and allocate the money for purposes that are at least very controversial and with not much social acceptance.

A representative of the State of Arizona has proposed a law, the Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Prevention Act, with which he wants to curb pornography. Any device with the ability to connect to the Internet sold in that state would have to include software that would block all Internet pornography, and if not, the distributors would face legal repercussions, something that no company wants to have.

To unblock pornography you have to pay for Donald Trump's wall

Those who would like to enjoy adult content would have to make a payment to the state of $ 20, an amount that is not exactly small, and if we add that it has to be for each device, there are thousands of computers, mobile phones and tablets that can need a payment, and maybe even routers.

However, investigations by media like MotherBoard and The Arizona Mirror make the fate of the money one more controversial. It is speculated that there are people connected to foundations to which the money would go, which would later use it to finance part of the wall that Donald Trump wants to build on the border of the United States and Mexico.

For now, the law is not effective, but we cannot know for sure if it will be approved or not, and if it does, hardware manufacturers will have to make a very particular software that is only activated when sold in Arizona, something that can be somewhat complicated logistics and technologically.
