BuzzFeed announces that it will use ChatGPT to help write articles and its stock value doubles

BuzzFeed, the content website packed with quizzes, compilation content and more; has recently considered using ChatGPT's AI to write content. They will do it with the intention of improve your tests and customize some content for your audience, always with the help of a human.
In a memo sent to staff today, CEO Jonah Peretti said he intends to see AI play a greater role in the company's publishing and business operations this year. In one case, the company said that new AI-based questionnaires would produce individual results.
Buzzfeed sees potential in using AI to write personalized tests
They gave the example of a questionnaire to create a personal romantic comedy proposal, which could ask questions like "Pick a trope for your romantic comedy" Y "Tell us about an endearing defect that you have«. BuzzFeed sees the possibility that these questions would produce unique, shareable text based on individual responses.
AI is also expected to help in the creative process and improve the content of the company, while humans play the role of providing ideas, who are "culture currency" Y "inspired stimuli«. He hopes that in 15 years, AI will be able to create content on its own rather than just making a selection. But the reality is that AI is always based on content that has been fed to it and guidelines, and as such, it is not capable of generating anything on its own if it is not being monitored and given corrections.

Some publishers have said they are beginning to discuss the use of AI technology, while others are already experimenting with it. The result of this? Its stock value quickly doubled.
