The Chromecast Ultra for Google Stadia would be shutting down due to significant temperature problems

New problems for Google Stadia and is that many users report that the Chromecast Ultra overheats and turns off in the middle of the game.
A few days ago the Google Stadia platform became available, which allows you to play games without the need for a powerful computer. The 'betatersters, referred to by Google as' Early Adopters' are beginning to give negative reports. Apparently the performance is not the best possible, 4K is not yet available and most importantly, Chromecast Ultra burns. And is that some report that this device would reach critical temperatures.
Chromecast Ultra arrives with the 'Early Adopter' pack, along with the remote and three months of service. The problem apparently is that this device that connects to our television has serious temperature problems. The device gets so hot that it ends up shutting down. This is a problem, as this mid-game event leaves us with all unsaved progress, completely lost.

I was in the middle of a fight in Destiny 2 when suddenly my Chromecast died and lost connectivity to the network. I went to unplug it from the power and it was extremely hot. Has anyone else experienced overheating with the new Chromecast Ultra that come with the Founder's Edition? I had not seen any other posts on that.

Thanks for calling our attention. We know that any kind of heat in a device can be a concern, but we can confirm that there is no thermal overheating issue with the Chromecast Ultra. During normal use (such as watching cat videos on YouTube), the surface of the device may become warm to the touch, but this works as designed.
The team has done extensive testing on hardware, services, and games, including long-term testing on Stadia and video sessions, and has seen no thermal shutdown issues.

Mass reaction to a very vague answer
Mine hasn't let me successfully run a game for more than 10 minutes in a row before it shuts down due to overheating. Clearly, your supportive customers who paid for the launch of this new technology are having problems and their response is denial of a problem. This is not the way to convince people to stay and trust to buy things from you. Nobody is perfect, things slip away, maybe a bad batch Chromecast Ultra out of the box. Whatever it is, recognize that there is a problem and fix it.

I want to point out that when it works, Stadia works wonders and I want it to be successful. That being said, you can't tell me the issue doesn't exist when I've clearly experienced it and other users claim that it's a Chromecast Ultra issue. It's problem literally to the point
where people have had to invent their own homemade heatsinks. Add 'armadeon7479' creator from the Reddit thread.
Mine is extremely hot and turns off after playing for about 20 minutes. Now it won't even connect to my home account.

It gets extremely hot to the touch too just by watching Netflix in 4K or playing games on Stadia. Last night I was worried it was going to catch fire because it scared my wife when she accidentally touched it so I unplugged it as fast as I could.

A truly disastrous start
Many point out that they're unsure how Stadia's "strange business model" works. The game list is extremely limited, and only Destiny 2 is available for free . Tomb Raider, released last year, costs €50, while on PC it can be found for €7.
The truth is that for it to succeed, it needs much more. Perhaps one of the big problems is that it is not associated with Valve. Not being able to run Steam games on this platform is a problem, because not many users will want to pay twice for a game.
Google has not officially said anything about user complaints. Bad, very bad Stadia boot.
