WIkimedia Foundation has produced a list of the most visited article lists during the past 2018. According to its own data, pop culture is in almost all the positions of the thirty most visited articles. Football has also had many visits, with the 2018 World Cup as the most visited football article with 34 million visits. Cristiano Ronaldo's article had 18 million views while Lionel Messi had more than eleven and a half million views.

Actor Jason Momoa also made the list of the most visited on Wikipedia with 12 million, and Freddie Mercury rose to 22 million thanks to the premiere of the film Bohemian Rhapsody.
