Ninja leaves Twitch to broadcast on Mixer

Twitch loses its most popular streamer, who goes to the Microsoft platform and will broadcast there exclusively. Ninja has not given too many details about this decision.

Today is one of the busiest days for streaming, because Ninja, one of the biggest personalities in the streaming world, if not the biggest, has left the purple platform of Twitch. From now on it will broadcast exclusively for Mixer, the streaming platform owned by Microsoft and that has been making movements for some time to try to capture new streamers of all sizes and with Ninja they have scored a very big goal.

Ninja is one of the very few personalities on Twitch. While many of us can say more than a dozen important names on YouTube, Twitch Ninja is one of the few whose name goes beyond the platform. It is the most popular streamer on the Amazon platform and from now on it will surely end up being in Mixer.

The most popular on Twitch goes to Mixer

Ninja has only put a tweet with a comic sketch, without answering anything serious, simply saying that it will be the same but on another platform.

Ninja's reasons could be many, and we can only speculate. It's likely that it all comes down to money, and he probably did the math and saw that he could earn more on Mixer, either through a higher percentage of his followers' paid subscriptions or some kind of direct sponsorship from the platform. The responses were swift; while some support the celebrity, others complained that they only recently subscribed and their subscription won't be worth as much. It remains to be seen how this will affect the platforms and whether it will ultimately boost Mixer's popularity. It's estimated that he earned over ten million dollars in 2018 , so if he goes to Mixer, he should earn a similar amount.
