Plex allows us to watch movies and series without paying but with advertising
The days of downloading movies or music are fading fast thanks to new platforms. Fewer and fewer users are wasting time searching for content to download, opting instead to pay for Netflix, Spotify, HBO, or other VOD services . Well, now comes Plex , a platform that lets us access movies and series for free.
Well it is true that Plex has a counterpart and that is that it has ads. It's basically like YouTube, but with better quality content. This platform and others such as Tubi or Crackle already offer similar services in the United States. The problem is that it is very difficult to see these platforms outside of this country. Now Plex is expanding globally, offering services in 220 countries at no cost to the viewer.
Watch movies and series on Plex without paying
This platform is now available worldwide with thousands of movies and television series. We can also find musical and sports documentaries, Bollywood musicals and much more. We simply have to go to the Plex website from any device and consume content.
Those with a Plex account or who have a Plex library with their own content, will have access to the new streaming section at no cost. It will also offer us a section of recommended content that will fit our tastes.
You can access Plex from the website or by downloading the applications for Windows, macOS, SmartTV, Android and iOS. Unfortunately the service in Spain is not yet activated, it simply appears as 'Soon'.
From the platform they say that they will continue to expand their catalog with more studios and creators. We can find Oscar-winning films or independent films from Europe, Africa, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, China, Russia and Japan.
The problem is still that many of the contents are not in Spanish and do not have subtitles. Predictably it will not be available in other languages either, therefore its interest is greatly limited.
