Sonic will be redesigned in the movie 'Sonic The Edgeon' to look more like the video game character
Due to the great rain of criticism for the design of Sonic in the movie 'Sonic The Hedgeon', the director of the same says that they will redesign Sonic.
These days on the internet there is no talk of anything other than the movie 'Sonic The Hedgeon'. On Tuesday Paramount and Sega released the trailer for the movie of the famous video game saga. Sonic fans, seeing the chilling 'doll' that these monsters had created, have thrown themselves around their necks. Hundreds of memes, criticisms, comparisons and arrangements by fans of the saga have roamed the network. So much has been the controversy around the puppet that Jeff Fowler, director of 'Sonic The Hedgeon' has come out to say that there will be changes in the design.
After the rain of criticism they will change the design of Sonic in the film
Many times when movies are created from books or video games, the story is manipulated a lot and has little to do with reality. The exceptions are few and perhaps the most recognized are 'The Lord of the Rings', 'Harry Potter', 'Hitman' and 'Tomb Raider'. We also come across some pretty unfortunate movies like 'Super Mario Bros' or 'Need for Speed'. To date 'Sonic The Hedgeon' was aimed to be bad.
Jeff Fowler has responded to the harsh criticism from fans and has come out to rectify: «Thanks for the support. And the criticism. The message was loud and clear… they are not happy with the design and want changes. Well, it's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount and Sega is fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast»
Fowler's words suggest that there will be a modification in Sonic's design for the film. The normal thing would be for it to look more like the console character, which differs a lot from the one seen in the first trailer. It's interesting to see that from time to time fans are listened to and mistakes are rectified.
