Trump gives Microsoft 6 weeks to shut down TikTok deal
America's tech sector seems to be tired of Donald Trump's bullshit by now. Vetoing Huawei and tariffs on China would be supplying them a significant capital series. Trump a few days ago announced that he was going to ban the TikTok application for lack of privacy. This would have sparked the move by Microsoft, who wanted to exploit it in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The irony of the matter is that privacy policies matter when the app is not American. The case of Cambridge Analytica and Facebook, which helped Trump gain power, has resulted in a fine, a slap on the wrist and nothing more. Can it be more ridiculous?

Trump gives Microsoft a deadline to buy the rights to TikTok
As has been learned, the President of the United States would have given until September 15 to close the operation. Microsoft would have until that day to take over the rights of the application on US soil. If the operation is not completed, the Chinese application will end up being illegal on US soil.
Thus, Microsoft and ByteDance have just six weeks to close the transfer of the rights to TikTok. The negotiations would take just a week underway, but it is not known where they are. It is also not known how long the negotiations will take, but they must go at full speed, since time is against them.
For Trump, the only thing that matters is that the application is controlled by a US company. Well, what it really is to control the whole world, we have already seen how it is doing everything possible to sink Huawei. Trump wants to prevent China from becoming a world economic leader, surpassing them, something that seems only a matter of time.
Huawei has been blocked for allegedly using the 5G network for espionage, but without showing any evidence. Now they are going for TikTok, a Chinese application that manages to rival other social networks. The pattern is very clear, if you are a Chinese company and you compete against American companies, you are screwed.
