It's the same price he originally proposed in April before trying to back out of the deal. This information comes from anonymous sources that have communicated with the Bloomberg portal.
Last week, a series of text messages were made public in court filings. There was no indication of genuine concern about the bots that prompted Musk to back out of the deal. But there was a conflict with Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, who had asked Musk to stop tweeting negative things about Twitter . In a pretrial hearing last week regarding Twitter's lawsuit against Musk for failing to honor its offer, Musk's argument that Twitter had given him incorrect information was refuted.
Auditing firms had been hired to analyze Twitter's bot numbers. One firm confirmed Twitter's figures; the other suggested that 11 percent of Twitter users were not authentic, but that analysis was ruled not statistically sound.
It should be said that, although this information that Musk wants to buy Tiwitter again could be true, it could be months or weeks before the purchase becomes official and effective and before the effects of Musk's direction are effective. For now, everything is pure speculation based on information about plans that have not been made effective.
