Elon Musk returns to his idea of buying Twitter under the original plan

The fact that Elon Musk decided to buy the social network Twitter has given much to talk about. It all started with a message on the social network, which ended up being a reality for weeks when the process of buying Twitter began.

With this came accusations that Elon had used his influence in the technology market so that the deal would be favorable, and that Twitter hid the number of automated accounts and not carried by real users to make the purchase more juicy in his favor. In the end, weeks later, the deal was called off. But now it seems that Elon Musk is back to his old ways and wants to buy Twitter at the original price.

Elon Musk backs down and wants to buy Twitter again

There have been unconfirmed reports that Elon Musk has sent another offer letter to buy Twitter at $54,20 per share. It's the same price he originally proposed in April before trying to back out of the deal. This information comes from anonymous sources that have communicated with the Bloomberg portal.

Last week, a series of text messages in court files were made public. There was no indication of real concern about the bots that have served to get Musk to back out of the deal. But there was a conflict with the CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal, that he had asked Musk to stop tweeting negative things about Twitter. At a pre-trial court hearing last week into Twitter's lawsuit against him for not honoring its offer, Musk's argument that Twitter had given him the wrong data had been refuted.

Auditing companies had been hired to do an analysis of the Twitter bot numbers. One company confirmed the figures from Twitter; the other suggested that 11 percent of Twitter users were inauthentic, but ruled that that analysis was not statistically robust.

It should be said that, although this information that Musk wants to buy Tiwitter again could be true, it could be months or weeks before the purchase becomes official and effective and before the effects of Musk's direction are effective. For now, everything is pure speculation based on information about plans that have not been made effective.
