Netflix will add free games to your subscription
For a few weeks, the coming of video games to Netflix has been rumored. Today it has finally been confirmed that they will arrive next year.
Netflix wants us to spend as much time as possible in its app to feel that we are taking advantage of your subscription. In addition to creating dozens of series and hundreds of movies, now he wants our time on Netflix to also be occupied by video games that will arrive next year.

It may seem like a crazy idea, and for a lot of reasons, but Netflix has actually been trying to make interactive shows for years. One of their first projects was a special episode of Buddy Thunderstruck where they let the viewer decide what the main characters did. It wasn’t until the Black Mirror episode “Bandersnatch” came out that people noticed these interactive shows on Netflix. They even had a version of the first season of Minecraft: Story Mode.
This is Netflix's idea of video games on its service. The basis is that you end up spending more time on Netflix and feel that you value the subscription more than other services or games. For this reason they have confirmed their plans to bring video games to the service.
The video games will be free, as they will be included with a Netflix subscription. The first titles will be mobile games, so we can expect that the first devices to have Netflix games will indeed be mobile phones. Other devices that could have them include PCs, using game streaming technology like Google Stadia or Amazon Luna to send the game image to the user. The last major challenge will be smart TVs and streaming devices like Fire TV or Chromecast, which don't have a physical input like a wired controller, keyboard, or touchscreen, and the latency between pressing a button on the controller and the receiver receiving the input must be taken into account.
