A new change in YouTube's "Terms and Conditions" would allow closing channels that do not generate income or that generate very little income.
Free and open entertainment may be nearing its end, at least in part. Google owns YouTube, the world's largest video platform, where thousands of hours of content are uploaded every second. Its policies are deplorable and only apply based on the number of subscribers. Now, to make matters worse, they've modified the "Terms and Conditions" to make them even more restrictive.
It seems that YouTube will modify the "Terms and Conditions" next month with the umpteenth controversy. What is the controversy? "YouTube may remove your access, or your Google account's access to all or part of the Services if YouTube believes, in its sole discretion, that the provision of the service to you is no longer commercially viable"

The closest translation is that if your content doesn't generate anything, they can delete your channel. Now it is literally no longer necessary for you to infringe certain prerogatives, such as violent, pornographic or similar content. Simply if your channel does not generate money or generates very little, they will close it and something else.
The text is certainly so ambiguous that it could mean a lot of things. It's understood that if a channel doesn't generate money or generates very little, it could be shut down. But it seems more focused on channels that upload clips of other content and don't monetize it. And this applies to YouTube channels like Dalas's, who spends all day insulting and harassing other people without any consequences whatsoever.
Some changes that will come into effect on December 10 and that come with controversy. We will have to wait for possible clarifications from YouTube, because it opens the door to an important dictatorship. How much is the minimum that I must generate? Can't I have a free channel, without monetization if I don't want to?
