KartKraft: Kart Simulator for PC coming to consoles

This curious and innovative racing game, KartKraft, takes Karts to their highest point never seen before in a driving video game

If we talk about Karts in the world of video games, there are few games that have dared to incorporate them into a racing title, and even less to make a title focused on that alone. Yes, we have the Karts DLC of Arma 3 and also the Toca Race Driver 3. And yes, there are also the Mario Karts, but I don't mean that, I mean a simulation game, a realistic game in graphics and physics, And that's what KartKraft has come for. The game is in early access on Steam and will hit consoles later this year.

The game features various brands including Alpinestars, Arai, Freem, Momo, OMP, and Sparco, with more to be added during Early Access content updates, reaching 20 officially licensed manufacturers. Dress however you like by choosing suits, gloves, boots and helmets to show your unique style. Accelerate from 0-100 in 3 seconds while racing against 20 other drivers. According to the developer studio, the physics are the most advanced ever produced in a racing game.

No seat belts, no suspension, no downforce. This is pure head-to-head competition

In addition, at KartKraft, we will be able to build our Kart from scratch with more than 60 components and more than 1 000 parts that affect performance and handling. Swap axles, sprockets, carburetors, rims, hubs, torsion bars, and many more. If you can see it, you can change it. Build your Kart from a bare chassis to create a rocket. The circuits are laser scanned, with millimeter precision, feel the kart bend, twist and bounce on every hit, hole or curb on officially licensed circuits.

On the other hand, the tracks that are currently available are the following: Atlanta Motorsports Park, USA. PF International, UK. Go Kart Club of Victoria, Australia Geelong Kart Club, Australia. The current brands of Karts are: Arrow, CRG, Mortal, Formula K, Monaco, OK1, Prague and SodiKart. We have several game modes available: AI Quick Race, PvP Ghost Leaderboards (Global and National Divisions), Practice, and Photomode. The multiplayer will arrive when it comes out of the Early Access, which should have been this summer, it seems that it is delayed at the end of the year.

The roadmap indicates that version 1.0 will feature 10 tracks, all laser-scanned and officially licensed, along with mod support, league support, performance optimizations, and online multiplayer with skill-based matchmaking. It will launch on consoles in Q3 2019, according to the studio.
