Adidas will launch this year seven models of its new sports shoes, based on some of the characters from the mythical manga and anime series, Dragon Ball Z, which will be characterized by being the protagonist and antagonist.
One of the most mythical series in the history of manga and anime, is Dragon Ball, a series from which you can surely easily identify a large part of the characters. Well, according to the medium specialized in sports clothing and footwear, Sneakers News, the Adidas company will launch no less than seven sports shoes, with designs inspired by the characters from Dragon Ball Z. These models will not reach the market until August and they will be sold in two character branches: protagonist and antagonist. The first to hit the market are the San Goku versus Freezer models, which will be based on the Adidas ZX500 RM and Yung-1
These are just the beginning, since two new characters will be released in September, the two most important in the Dragon Ball Z saga. We are talking about Son Gohan and Cell, for obvious reasons. Gohan's model will be based on the Adidas Deerupt, while the Cell version will be based on the Propheres. A third round will be launched in November, where we will see the Saiyajung Vegeta based on the Ultra Tech, against Majin Boo, based on the Kamdanda. Additionally, those based on the Shenlong dragon will be launched, which are based on the EQT Mid ADV, but these will take a little longer to arrive, since they are expected in December.
This selection is based on sports models that will be launched during 2018, with the exception of BOOST, considered the best sports shoes that Adidas will launch this year. This is an interesting and curious marketing idea, since it seeks to attract new customers with these models based on Akira Toriyama's characters, in addition to giving a new image of the brand. In addition, according to some media, each pair of sports shoes could bring a unique action figure of each of the characters.
It is also pointed out that they could be only the first, since they would be working on models based on Mr Popo, Yajirobe, Tenshinhan and Mr Satan, although we would also like to see some inspired by Krillin, Bulma or C-18. The initial number of models is not accidental, as it is based on the number of dragon balls. Will you buy any?
