This GTX 1080 Ti shares the GPU with the NVIDIA Titan X Pascal, although the GTX 1080 Ti has a less GDDR5X memory module, although these memories have a higher bandwidth than the Titan X Pascal.

The GTX 1080 Ti and the Titan X Pascal have the GP102 GPU, with the same number of texture units, which is 224, both have 96 ROPs and have no less than 3584 Stream Processors. The difference comes in the frequencies, since the GTX 1080 Ti works at a base frequency of 1480MHz (the Titan X Pascal works at 1417MHz), while the Boost frequency is 1582MHz (the Titan X Pascal works at 1531MHz).

The amount of memory also differs, as the Titan X Pascal has 12GB of GDDR5X memory and the GTX 1080Ti has 11GB of GDDR5X memory. The effective frequency of the memories of the GTX 1080 Ti works at 1.375GMhz, while in the Titan X Pascal they work at 1.25GHz. The interface on the GTX 1080Ti has a 352bit interface and a 484GB / s bandwidth, while on the Titan X Pascal it has a 384bit interface and a 480GB / s bandwidth. Both cards are powered by an 8-pin connector and a 6-pin connector and a 250W TDP.

We clearly expected that the GTX 1080 Ti would compete with the Titan X Pascal, but we did not expect that the GTX 1080 Ti would technically destroy the Titan X Pascal and is that the solution presented by NVIDIA is an extremely powerful solution, capable of dethroning the Titan X Pascal as the most powerful on the market. So much so that the Titan X Pascal, for its € 1400, compared to the price of the GTX 1080 Ti, which is € 829 in the Founders Edition version, it is clear that the Titan is a thing of the past and is not worth buying. .

The difference, as we see in the graphs, is minimal compared to the Titan X Pascal, but with the GTX 1080Ti ahead and with a lower price, it is very interesting to acquire one by users who have the possibility of buying one, of course.
