PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds page is full of criticism for the appearance of ads

Asian users of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, fill this game's page with criticism on Steam, due to the appearance of advertisements that offer better quality servers and VPN in the lobby of the game itself.

There is a phenomenon, especially on Steam, called Review Bombing, a practice that usually occurs in certain games, which is based on the rain of negative reviews on a game, demonstrating the discomfort of the community. I recently happened to Dota 2 after unveiling what would be part of the Half Life 3 script, which has never seen the light and unleashed the anger of users on Steam, attacking the most played game developed by Valve. Now it's up to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

The rain of negative reviews has nothing to do with changes in the theme of the game or problems in the game itself, these are based on the appearance of various advertisements in the game lobby, on the main screen of the game. These ads have appeared in Asian regions and would basically offer better quality online servers, offering better quality servers than the ones that the video game itself has, something that has not sat well with users.

Those who have protested the most about this have been the players from China, since they suffer from permanent connection problems, due to the partial isolation of this country. This ad mainly spoke of the VPN service, offering a payment alternative, something that would have been repeated in recent days. From Bluehole or the new PUBG Corporation they have not said anything even officially in this regard. If the developers say something about this, we will inform you, but it could be some kind of error in the game servers or some other reason that we do not know.
