There is a rumor that the liquid cooling that AMD will incorporate in its pack of AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, have been developed by Asetek.

These days the protagonists are the AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors, with the permission of the AMD RX Vega, of course. These new processors from AMD, the first of the company for the high-end, will arrive with a factory liquid cooling, all of them, since it is foreseen that in the first instance there will not be heatsinks of the big brands for these heatsinks. The last thing that has been known, after seeing the box with which they arrived, is that it could have an Asetek liquid cooling, of the All-in-One type, although this is a rumor.

To our knowledge, only Arctic Cooling would have cooling systems for the Threadripper at the time of its launch and they would also be AIO liquid cooling, while Noctua, which presented heatsinks at Computex 2017, already said that it would not have them ready for the launch of processors and that those shown were prototypes. The problem in terms of heatsinks, is based on the size of the HIS, which is very large, twice that of the Ryzen, because basically they are two Ryzen joined by a modular system, something that NVIDIA plans to do in the future in its graphics cards , since they are currently developing that project.

It should be noted that Asetek is the most important RL AIO manufacturer on the market and that currently manufactures the Corsair H100i and H115i, the NZXT Kraken, the EVGA CLC, various Cooler Master RL models and the vast majority of RLs of all market manufacturers, so this liquid cooling will be of quality. AMD with this ensures that buyers have a cooling solution if there were no heatsinks on the market at launch.
