South Korean online store Wemakeprice will add up to twelve cryptocurrencies as a payment method

The South Korean digital store Wemakeprice is planning to add payment for products with up to a dozen cryptocurrencies and this will be done thanks to an alliance with Bithumb, the largest exchange house in South Korea.

South Korea has been for about a week in the center of the cryptocurrency hurricane, by some voices within the country calling for cryptocurrencies and exchanges to be banned, but in the end everything has been in strict regulation and nothing more . We also know that the South Korean online trading platform, Wemake.eu, today January 29, has announced that during this first quarter it will begin to support the payment of cryptocurrencies, which is great news.

Lee Hanul, who is a spokesperson for Wemakeprice (WMP), has said that this is thanks to an alliance developed between the digital store and the Bithumb exchange, the largest in South Korea. Likewise, the company WMP becomes the first of the large South Korean online shopping platforms, which admits cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. Lee Hanul has commented that: 'This is a real trend that everyone talks about. This association requires that Bithumb be synchronized with the WMP Wonder Pay mobile payment system, according to which the price that the customer should pay will be decided according to the present value of a certain cryptocurrency used for payment. '

WMP and Bithumb are working on a payment system that will implement up to a dozen tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, which will be implemented through a payment platform called Wonder Pay. This tool will have the characteristic of showing in real time, the value of all cryptocurrencies that are accepted as payment, thus avoiding confusion regarding the volatility of cryptocurrency prices when we make the purchase.

Possibly WMP wait a bit before implementing it, to finish clarifying the situation in the country, regarding currencies. Right now, new regulations on the cryptocurrency market are starting to come into force, but nothing to make them illegal, of course. We must bear in mind that the restrictions on anonymous accounts for cryptocurrencies will not enter at all.
