AMD's Raven Ridge APUs are twice the performance of the previous generation of APUs, thanks to having an AMD Ryzen processor and AMD RX Vega graphics in the same package.

Above all I find them an interesting option in all-terrain laptops, from leisure on the networks, office automation, something heavier and with patience, finishing off in casual games and others in moderate resolutions!
I bought the first notebook with good reviews to arrive in Argentina and carry a Raven Ridge APU, things have changed and I think that instead of building a PC I'm going headlong for a laptop.
the price difference will be quite considerable but it all depends on your budget and needs
I have 2 years with an fm2 + APU but it is falling very short in gaming performance, if the Raven Ridge APU versions of safe desktop laptops are that good too. We have to wait for the desktop versions and their benchmarks, they are sure to give a good performance to build a low-cost entry-level gamer pc.
