Well, they are not USB ports or RJ45 connectors, the particular thing about this Legrand strip is that it has support for WiFi technology or what is the same, it is a strip connected to the internet.

This curious Legrand strip offers us the possibility of controlling and managing the electrical appliances in our house, using our smartphone or tablet, thanks to the Legrand Mobile socket app. What this application gives us is information through a notice or an email, of abnormal consumption, power cuts, overload, etc., it allows us to control the consumption of connected devices and the creation and management of profiles to control consumption from distance.

The alerts are automatic, notifying us of a light switch so that we or someone close to us who has access to our house, can restore the light and thus prevent the food in the fridge from spoiling, for example. This strip warns us when the consumption exceeds 90% of the circuit capacity, to avoid damaging the installation. This value can be customized. This strip allows you to configure a series of hours where there should be no consumption, if there were energy consumption in those hours, it would be reported through the application. Excessive energy consumption is also reported by devices such as mobile air conditioners or stoves that are operating when you are not at home. If a refrigerator, which must be connected uninterruptedly and stops consuming electricity, will be notified, because it is possible that it is broken.

Not only this, it allows us to turn on or off devices when we are not at home, we can program the device to plug in the stove or air conditioning to acclimatize the house, it allows us to turn on connected lights that simulate the presence of people. This strip also has a primary Schuko socket, which if it makes the rest of the sockets depend on it directly, or what is the same, if there is something plugged into that socket and it consumes, it makes the rest of the sockets work. The application tells us the consumption and efficiently manage our energy expenditure.
