They carry the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor up to 5.880MHz

The der8auer overclocker has raised the frequency of the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X to 5.880MHz, staying very close to the record, which was achieved with the Ryzen 5 1600X processor.

One of the most important overclockers in the world, such as der8auer, already has several second-generation AMD Ryzen processors in its possession, specifically, it has an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and Ryzen 5 2600X processor. These two processors will hit the market on April 19. The der8bauer overclocker has managed to pass the frequency of 5.880MHz in the Ryzen 7 2700X, but at the moment it has not been possible to pass the highest frequency of a Ryzen, since the maximum frequency registered by these processors in Hubo is 5.905MHz, reached for the Ryzen 5 1600X

The highest frequency for a top-of-the-range Ryzen, such as the Ryzen 7 1800X, has been 5.803MHz, which has been surpassed in this case by der8auer. It has managed to establish a very good figure for the second generation Ryzen, staying just 21MHz from the record. We must emphasize that these frequencies, despite being very good, are far from overclocking capacity.

This is only the first step in terms of frequencies for these processors, since from now on everyone will want to break the score obtained by der8auer. Possibly, on Thursday, April 19, more benchmarks and more data on these processors will begin to appear.

The Ryzen 2000 Series will hit the market with four models, which are characterized by being manufactured in 12nm, which will allow increasing frequencies and performance, these processors will also have XFR 2.0 and Precision Boost 2. The controller has also been improved memory and its main mission is to compete directly with the eighth-generation Coffee Lake processors and possibly Intel's upcoming eight-core processors.
