The 10 best-selling games of Week 20 on Steam

We review, as usual, the ten best-selling games of the previous week on Steam, where it continues to lead with a firm step the Playerunknown's Battlegrounds game and the Counter Strike that is, once again, on the list.

As every week comes the list of the best-selling games on Steam, where the game Playerunknown's Battlegrounds continues to lead indisputably, there is no way it will fall from the first position of the Steam best-sellers list. Counter Strike stands out, which for another week remains on the Steam bestseller list and Rocket League, which occupies the second position. The most prominent entries are the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 that was on sale on Steam and the game Oxygen Not Included, which has surprised a lot by being in the ninth position of best-selling games on Steam.

10. Dead Cells

Dead Cells is described as a "roguevania", a combination of procedurally-generated roguelike games and exploration-based action Metroidvania games. The player controls a mass of cells that, at the start of each game, occupy and control the body of a deceased prisoner. The player collects weapons, armor, abilities, power-ups, and in-game currency as they explore a set of dungeons and battle the creatures that live within them. Should the controlled warrior's health drop to zero, the game is over, and the player must start over, losing all acquired items and wealth, with the dungeons having become re-generated again. Each level is procedurally generated by merging pre-designed sections into a random configuration along with random placement of enemies and items.

Permanent upgrades that affect future playthroughs can be obtained in a manner similar to the Souls series. Some enemies will drop soul spheres when defeated. If the player reaches the end of a dungeon section, they can transfer all collected souls to power-ups that either affect how the player starts the game in the future or add items that can be found or purchased in later runs. If the player fails to reach the end of a dungeon section, they lose all collected souls.
