Intel plans to launch the H370, H310 and B360 chipsets for Coffee Lake processors during Q1 2018, in addition to launching new Intel Optane SSD 900P units shortly.

So far when we have talked about Intel's Coffee Lake processors, we have only talked about the Z370 chipset, which is the high-end chipset, in charge of controlling the new Intel processors. What we did not know or what we had not heard, was the mid-range and basic chipset, for the most economical systems. Now it has been announced that these chipsets will arrive next year, specifically in the first quarter of 2018.

Specifically, in Q1 2018, the H370, H310 and B360 chipsets will arrive (because AMD has already used the name B350 for a chipset). In the same period, new Coffee Lake-S processors will arrive, more basic models to be able to develop more economical systems. The difference of these processors will be, among others, the TDP, which will be a maximum of 65W and the most basic model will be 35W. Among the processors that will arrive at that time, will be the Celeron and the Pentium, possibly we will see a replacement for the Pentium G4560, but we do not know, we will have to wait.

Intel plans to launch four and two core CEMs from the Celeron and Pentium Silver families based on Gemini Lake between October and November. GamerNexus would also have data on the new Intel Optane SSD 900P, which will arrive for the professional sector in capacities of 240GB and 480GB. About Optane, units that we have talked about this week, we said that they are units, so far, quite useless for the domestic sector, which do not contribute absolutely anything, since for the price these units have, it is better to opt for the units M.2 SSD. We will see when Optane units arrive for the domestic sector at a reasonable price and as a primary unit, not like the current ones, which only serve as a cache.
