The creators of Candy Crush will create a new Call of Duty for Android

King, the Swedish studio that created one of the great Android games in history, Candy Crush Saga, would be looking for workers to embark on the creation of a new Call of Duty game for Android.

In 2015, Activision acquired famous developer King, the creator of Candy Crush Saga, for $ 5.900 billion. Now, after several Call Of Duty games for Android, at the hands of Activision, this time King will be in charge of developing a new game in this franchise.

Unfortunately, the Swedish studio King did not reveal any details regarding the Call of Duty for mobile they are currently working on. However, the job offers from the Swedish studio suggest that it will be a new team that will create the game, so we are waiting for something quite new that has nothing to do with the games developed by King so far.

Our challenge as a team is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile that will strive to transform the best console experience fans know and love, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. Our approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible, while providing a very authentic game experience.

We don't know what kind of game might be cooking. Importing the Call of Duty gameplay as is to Android would be insane. This is because with the controls on the touch screen it is very difficult to play shooter, and it would require a control to play.

The most popular thing in the world of Android is card games. Remember that Blizzard also belongs to Activision, and they already made an adaptation of the Warcraft saga on Android with a great game like HearthStone.

Still, there is not even the group that will take charge of this new game, so there will still be a lot of time to know more about this time. The Call of Duty saga is one of the most exploited in history, its landing in a big way on Android was to be expected, and what better way than from the hand of an experienced studio such as King.
