AMD Ryzen 5 processors go on sale in Spain, for very interesting prices

The computer store Tel2U has put AMD Ryzen 5 processors on sale, which have a very attractive price and will give Intel a lot of headaches.

We already have the prices of AMD Ryzen 5 processors officially in Spain, thanks to the website of the computer store Cordoba Tel2U. This store seems to have stock of these processors to sell, although we do not know if it is for reservation or to buy it now and send it to us. We first have the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 BOX AM4, which is priced at € 182, which as we know will have four cores and eight processing threads, with a base frequency of 3.2Ghz and a Boost mode of 3.8GHz.

Next on the list is the AMD Ryzen 5 1500X BOX AM4, which is priced at € 210. This processor also has four cores and eight processing threads with a frequency of 3.5GHz and a boost mode of 3.7GHz. We go up one more notch with the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 BOX AM4, which is priced at € 234. This processor has six cores and twelve processing threads with a frequency of 3.2Ghz and a 3.6GHz Boost mode. Finally we have the AMD Ryzen 5 1600X BOX AM4 processor, which is priced at € 311. This processor also has six cores and twelve processing threads, but it works at a frequency of 3.6GHz and a Boost frequency of 4.0GHz.

The Tel2U store has been the first to be able to sell or at least reserve these processors and it is expected that in the coming days or weeks the Ryzen 5 will appear in other online stores in our country. The prices are not bad at all and are intended to compete with Intel's mid-range, offering in theory more power than Intel's solutions based on Kaby Lake.

  1. I still can't believe the price of the 1600... if that's it, I'll throw the money at the screen.

  2. In Mexico they can already be bought in PCX, the 1600 costs 4700 pesos, almost the same as a 6600k, and the 1400 costs almost the same as a 6400.
