It is filtered that the AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors will hit the market, next August 10, which will reach a maximum price, for the Threadripper 1950X of about € 1000.
The new AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors are AMD's competition within the professional range, whose mission is to compete against the Intel Basins Falls, based on the Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X architecture. The Japanese medium GDM has explained that the pre-sale of these processors should start in principle on July 27, but this pre-sale would have been canceled, due to availability problems. It is not the first time that a lack of Threadripper processors has been speculated at launch. It is likely that by August this problem will be resolved.
Regarding these processors, the first news speak of an arrival on the market together with liquid cooling systems, which was also advanced by the Japanese media GDM. The arrival of Threadripper with an RL AIO has not yet been made official. We must remember that Threadripper processors came to the market with at least one stock heatsink, because in the market at the moment we would not find air-cooled heatsinks compatible with these processors, due to the HIS dimensions of the Threadripper processor itself. Noctua has already said that the heatsinks shown at Computex were an engineering sample and would not be available at the time of launch for these professional processors.
We must emphasize that these processors will hit the market on August 10 at 22:00 p.m. Japanese time, according to the publication itself, that at the time change, it will be around 14:00 p.m. It should be noted that the Threadripper 1950X will have a price of approximately € 1000, apart from the motherboard, which should have a similar price to those destined for the Intel Basins Falls. That same day will also be the one that the benchmarks of these processors are launched, so that day we will see how these processors are around.
