Million Bitcoin Cash would not be a fork of Bitcoin and points to a scam
Million Bitcoin Cash, an unknown fork of September 16, installs Trojans with its software, it would be a fork of Novacoin and points to be a clear scam.
Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the market and the most used, in addition to being the economic reference of all cryptocurrencies on the market. On August 1, we witnessed the fork of this cryptocurrency, generating Bitcoin Cash. After this fork, another one has been generated in a hidden way and without much data, generating the Millon Bitcoin Cash coin, a cryptocurrency that is being investigated and that aims to be a scam with an incongruous code and that would cause the access of malware in the downloads .
It has been a Reddit user, called Ftrader, who has raised the alarm, publishing an extensive report, where all the points of the scam of this Million Bitcoin Cash fork are exposed. Supposedly this fork would give the same amount of Million Bitcoin Cash, as Bitcoin that we had in our portfolio, the same as happened with Bitcoin Cash. This fork happened on September 18, without prior notice and without information of any kind.
This new cryptocurrency in a promotional post, made in the Bitco.in forum, claims to solve the problems of processing space of the original Bitcoin cryptocurrency, allowing blocks of 1MB up to a maximum of 8MB, solving the instability of the blockchain network, reducing costs and allowing faster transactions. This would change the base algorithm of Bitcoin, going from proof-to-work to proof-of-stake, much more efficient in the energy aspect.
Github stores part of the code, which allows us to see what the source code of this new currency is and incongruities have been revealed between what is officially explained by Million Bitcoin Cash and the repository where the code is. The coin is not a fork of Bitcoin ABC and less of Bitcoin Classic, it is a fork of Novacoin. The code does not allow the creation of binary packages and linking Bittrex and HitBTC logos. The code memories for the 1MB to 8MB blocks are nowhere to be found and neither does the code part referring to SIGHASH_FORKID, which would separate the transactions between Bitcoin and Million Bitcoin Cash.
Use of .com and .org domains are used, but the binary packages of the Bitco.in link do not direct to these official sites. Using the VirusTotal.com solution, when scanning downloaded files for Windows, it detects various Trojans. If that wasn't enough, the Facebook page only has five people following this account. Apparently we are facing a scam by some smart ones, who have been caught with the attempt of fraud and deception.

If Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, how come they can climb the difficulty, fork and all that kind of thing? if it's supposed to be unmanageable.
Because they are necessary network updates. What cannot be seen is who operates, since there is privacy and there is no record of transactions and the price cannot be manipulated, since it is imposed by users. What you do is keep the code and update it, like any software. The forks are based on the original software, but modifications are implemented, therefore, so new currencies, but based on the same protocol.
