Monitors with NVIDIA G-Sync and HDR delayed to QXNUMX this year at the earliest

Monitors lag with NVIDIA G-Sync and HDR technologies are delayed until the third or fourth quarter of this year, due to implementation issues on 'small' monitors.

Monitors are increasingly being sought for, that they have the best and most advanced features and benefits. The latest in monitors are those with NVIDIA's G-Sync technology that contain support for HDR technology. The problem is that the combination of these two technologies will not reach the market until the third quarter of this year, at the earliest, but it will be in the fourth quarter when it is possible that they will arrive en masse. Much later than expected.

The implementation of G-Sync and HDR technologies is a great combination and one of the most interesting news for this year. These new monitors will be based on HDR 10 technology, which offers a high level of contrast and quality. Combining both technologies will provide an increase in the quality of future monitors, improving fluidity and image quality in games, also allowing more vivid and intense colors, which will delight the most demanding.

It appears that the delay to market is due to manufacturing problems for G-Sync monitors with HDR in relatively small panels. This is because complying with the HDR standard requires 100 nits of brightness, 384 lighting zones and synchronization with the full frequency of the visible spectrum in resolutions up to 4K. So, faced with these problems, they will be delayed until the third or four quarters of the year.

We must remember that the monitors with these technologies were supposed to arrive in the second quarter of last year, but they have been delayed more than a year due to these technical problems. Hopefully they will reach the market soon, although it is true that no matter how soon they arrive, the price will be inaccessible for most users by price.
