The Moto Z2 Play will not have as much battery as the Moto Z Play

The technical specifications of the next terminal of the Moto Z Play family have been leaked, the new Moto Z2 Play having much less battery than the first, although it will be thinner.

Yesterday, we could see leaked the technical specifications of the new Moto Z2 Play. Since the first Moto Z Play was presented, it has been one of the best smartphones in terms of value for money in the upper-middle range. That was thanks to the balance in all its characteristics. A high-quality AMOLED screen, hardware that, thanks to software very similar to stock Android, had incredible performance and fluidity, and one of its strongest points was the battery. A battery of 3.510 mAh that endowed the Moto Z Play of great autonomy, well above its biggest rivals in price. Now, this battery will become 3.000 mAh in the new Moto Z2 Play, something that has left many cold. The terminal will gain in lightness and its thickness will be reduced.

Recall that the Moto Z2 Play will come with a screen of 5,5 inches in resolution 1080 x 1920, Powered Super AMOLED. A Soc Snapdragon 626 along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. A main chamber of 12 megapixels with aperture f / 1.7. And the already named battery of 3.000 mAh, and that can give a lot to talk about, if it does not comply with a minimum of autonomy.

The terminal will continue to keep the rear pins to be able to place the Moto Mods on them. And if that is the final battery of the terminal, the use of the battery Moto Mods would not hurt. A protector that is hooked to the back of the terminal through the pins, and that increases the battery by up to 2.220 mAh. But we would be in the same, we would gain in thickness and weight again, at the cost of a battery with greater autonomy. We will see how this, a priori, problem of the Moto Z2 Play is solved.
